Alma Harmony™ is a cutting-edge laser device equipped with multiple handpieces for a variety of treatment uses. Target hyperpigmentation, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, and signs of aging all with the various Alma devices and expert care of double board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mario Yco.

What is Alma Harmony™? 

Alma Harmony™ offers several treatments in one device equipped with the latest laser technology, including IPL, ClearLift, and VascuPen.

Intense pulsed light (IPL)

IPL uses light energy to target excess melanin (pigmentation) in the skin and vascular lesions. It can also be used for laser hair removal on many areas of the body.

ClearLift

The ClearLift attachment is a Q-switched laser, which uses shorter and stronger pulses of light energy to treat hyperpigmentation, including dark spots, age spots, brown spots, and general skin discoloration.

VascuPen

The VascuPen is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a small wand to precisely target visible veins on the face. By removing these small veins and visible blood vessels, a brighter and more even complexion is restored.

Alma IQ

We are also pleased to offer Alma IQ, an imaging software that analyzes the skin to assess skin type and skin health while better visualizing skin conditions. This software allows us to create personalized treatment plans that carefully consider the severity of different skin conditions to find the best possible treatments and achieve optimal results.

Who is a Candidate for Alma Harmony™? 

Alma Harmony™ offers several different attachments, making this a versatile treatment that can benefit almost all patients. Each laser is safe for all skin types and skin tones and designed to treat a wide range of skin conditions and aesthetic concerns. However, patients may need to wait to receive treatment if they have an active skin infection or open wounds in the treatment area.

Alma Harmony™ Procedure 

The Alma Harmony™ treatment is performed in our comfortable office and takes an average of 30 minutes. While most patients do not find this treatment to be uncomfortable, a topical numbing cream can be applied if desired. During the procedure, you may feel a gentle warming sensation and a mild tingling from the pulses of light energy. After the treatment is complete, you can immediately return to your daily activities.

Post-Op Care 

There is minimal downtime and recovery after Alma Harmony™ laser treatments. Your skin may be mildly red and swollen, similar to a sunburn, but there is no downtime. However, it is important to protect your skin from UV exposure by using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30. After a few days, the pigmented lesions will flake off, leaving you with brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. A series of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.
